Had a fuss free experience with HOI. Mr. Vinod was very supporting and helped with all the information I needed for my road Trip to Ladakh and back. Most of the homestays are rooted to the local culture and give you a pure experience.

Splendid experience of booking the Kinnaur Valley Trip through the HomeStays of India. All the properties were beautiful, offered the much needed moments to breathe fresh air while overlooking the lush green valleys and snow capped mountain ranges. The warmth of the hosts at the homestays we shall carry with us for a long time. Nature Homestay at Mashobra offered the best experience and definitely a place to recommend. Homestays of India , keep up the good work !!!

I booked multiple homestays from HOI in different locations. Their team is very friendly who handled my bookings smoothly. Each of the homestays had good facilities and ambience to work. I could explore different parts of India without my work being affected, Thanks to them. It was amazing experience to stay through HOI.

The properties listed on HOI are genuine and hosts are interested in taking care of their guests. I have booked multiple accommodations with them. The rates are better than other platforms and they are always responsive. I suggest to use their services.

Had a great stay, everything was taken care of from internet, food & housekeeping. Also great assistance provided for local sightseeing. HOI helped us schedule a great staycation at 3 separate homestays. Thanks a lot, would highly recommend.

This was the first time I engaged anyone to plan my travel but HomeStays of India was just perfect. They planned the travel very well and all of their properties where we stayed were excellent. Will definitely book through them again next time. Cheers!

Our stay with homestays of India in Shillong was really great. Did not expect such an excellent property, extremely clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, good food and lovely people.

Our experience with HOI and the homestay Into the Woods, Sattal was truly refreshing! The location, the stay, the food, the hospitality of staff members, including the manager and the owner of the homestay was phenomenal. They were so warm, accommodating going over and beyond their duty, to ensure that we had a wonderful time, our kids frolicked around the woods freely, made many human and animal friends. The place is exactly as in the pictures. I would highly recommend HOI to anyone who wants to travel sustainably, and experience the true flavour of a place.

There are homestays and there is a home to stay in. A home is not only made up of walls and windows but the people who live there and take care of it. Nestled in the heart of Shillong, this beautiful homestay welcomes you as if you are one of their own. Victorian interiors, warmth and a beautiful garden is what you can look forward to when you stay here. The house is well furnished while keeping in mind the tiniest of details to make your stay comfortable. But it’s just not the house that makes you visit memorable. Hello to Mayborn, her daughter Janess and their beautiful canine and feline companions. I stayed for a month, but made friends for a lifetime. The fun and chaos that I have had here, O boy!! For all you solo, couple and group travellers, looking for a homestay, I would highly recommend this homestay. Great food, good ambience and gorgeous host. I have returned from their homestay with warmth, love and amazing friendship. All my love to Janess and Mayborn. I hope to see you guys soon. Much hugs and kisses.

We are a family of 3 and we recently did a Himachal Pradesh trip with HOI, covering Shimla and places in Kinnaur and Kullu districts. It was a 10 night, 11 day trip. It was very well organized. We visited many places, yet the pace was not at all hectic. All the homestays had excellent hosts. The guest rooms at all places were very clean and neat. They served us homely meals prepared with care. At most places, the hosts were eager to spend time with us, and we chatted with them for long hours.
The driver and car made available to us was excellent. He took very good care of us and also helped a lot to get our son’s covid test done.

It was a truly memorable trip, and we would definitely recommend Homestays of India to friends and colleagues. Thanks a lot.

I stayed at Seri Homestay, Jibhi for almost a week for the purpose of workcation. It’s a must visit, away from city noise and pollution, a place where you feel like home. The hosts are really nice and friendly and the food you’ll get here is just amazing. There is a 5 min walk from the stay to waterfall. You’ll enjoy every bit of your vacation, I can guarantee. Also, the property is scenic, clean and beautiful. Must visit!

Sumur Homestay in Nubra Valley, Ladakh is an excellent homestay. Very peaceful. They have an amazing garden full of apples and apricots. A vegetable garden adds to the village charm. The hosts are really accommodating and well behaved. Authentic home made Ladakhi food was served. Butter tea was wonderful as well as the Thukpa for dinner. Rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Looking forward to visiting again.

If you are looking for warmth and beauty, this is the place to be. We were 4 adults, one teenager and a pug looking to break our journey midway between Kotgarh and Delhi and we were lucky to find Dera Bassi Homestay on HOI site. The house is intricately and tastefully decorated. Chandrika ji is a wonderful host. We were amazed to meet such a versatile personality who cooks so well and is a professional skater and pilot. We had breakfast and dinner and everything tasted really delicious. Nice ,clean and spacious rooms were provided. The garden including a terrace garden is a delight to see.

In all it was a beautiful experience for all of us.

I would really call it a Home away from Home. I went to Shimla on a solo trip, knowing nothing about the place. From the moment I booked the Summer Hill Homestay, Roopan sir has been very kind in helping me with every step, starting from how to reach the homestay to what places I must visit as a tourist.

Once I reached, I was received with warmth by Roopan sir and Sanju, the caretaker. I was served food, which led to a great opportunity in introducing me to their resident furry friend Torpedo. Post that we discussed my plans for the stay and tour. The homestay itself was a great way to relax, with calm surroundings conducive to pursue any focused activities like reading, writing, meditation etc. With a high-speed wifi connection one could easily attend to their work commitments.

The homestay is away from the regular tourist bustle of Shimla and is great if you want to visit some off-beat destinations or you just need a walk inside the woods and jungle. The main tourist destinations can also be reached on foot and if you love walking or trekking, I suggest that you cover all the places by foot. This experience is nothing less than magical and enthralling.

Throughout my stay there both Roopan sir and his wife, Priya mam have been checking in with me regularly to see if all was well, especially because I went alone. This was nothing less that the care and safety one would get at home.

Overall it was an amazing experience. I would definitely not think twice before booking this stay if I ever go back to Shimla again, either alone or with my friends and family!

“Everyone who is planning for a visit to Manipur should without any doubt spend a night here at Loktal Lake Homestay. The hospitality , the fresh organic local food, the people , the boat ride , the star gazing part ,etc etc . Everything about this place is just amazing! Will be visiting again very soon.”

This was the first homestay where I stayed, and I felt like I was in paradise for the ten days that I stayed at Mukteshwar homestay in October. It was an amazing experience, if only for the breathtaking view from the terrace in front of the room. We spent all of our time relaxing in and around the homestay, and we weren’t bored for even one second. The homestay is truly a hidden gem where you can find immediate inner peace. It was almost painful to leave. On top of that the host, his wife and his son are the sweetest people and incredibly hospitable. Admittedly, I’m a very picky eater but the food there was some of the best which I ever had. Incredibly fresh and amazingly well prepared. Would travel all the way back there for the food alone. Thank you for giving us the time of our life, I definitely hope to come back here soon.

“Best homestays in India. They have really good options for staying with beautiful views around. I just got back from Sikkim and they had organised everything for me.From staying to food to conveyance. If you are looking for a good homestay option, plz dont think twice and go ahead with it. U ll not regret it. Also, I just want to mention that in each homestay in Sikkim that I stayed in, the family who owned the place were so sweet and made you feel like your home and comfortable. They served us fresh food. They kept us entertained. Not for a second I felt that I was away from home. A big thank you to Homestays of India and their team. You guys are doing a wonderful job.”

“We stayed at Palampur Homestay for 5 nights. For the reasonable cost, we got much more than we expected. The food variety and personalised service staff were excellent. Beautiful Roses and flowers in bloom. Comfortable stay. In particular I loved my personal space in the cottage attic. The location faces a green hill of tea gardens and a short walk away is the most pleasurable ambiance for an evening and morning walk in lush green tea gardens. A little off the crowded city area makes it even better.”

“My family and I had a wonderful stay at Ukhimath Homestay in June 2018 while we explored the Mandakini Valley. Kimana village is an enchanting locale in which one awakes to bird song instead of traffic noise. The house exterior is gorgeous–we loved the traditional architecture and decoration–whereas the interior has all modern amenities. The food was made with fresh ingredients, and included regional cuisine and condiments (for example, mandua ki roti and fiddlehead fern pickles). Most important of all, our host and his family were kind and extraordinarily helpful in arranging for all our needs (whether at the home or on regional excursions). We came as customers, we left as friends. I will certainly visit again.”
