It is a quaint little village in Parvati valley located on the way from Bhuntar to Kasol in Himachal Pradesh. Jari is the diverging point for the road to Malana and the path to the peaceful village of Mateura starts from here. Mateura is 1km uphill drive from Jari market and is known for the beautiful temples and houses built in kathkuni architecture. There are spectacular views of the mountains and the valley from here and the local families are very friendly. This traditional village is a wonderful place to see Himachali rural life at close quarters.
Bhuntar is the nearest airport located at a distance of 23 km. The best way to reach Jari is by the overnight Volvo buses that ply between Delhi and Manali quite frequently.
It is a beautiful double storey building located on a plateau and has a 360 degree view of Parvati Valley. There are 6 well ventilated airy rooms with attached bathrooms. All the rooms are 2 sides open and offer amazing valley views. There are many hidden nature trails around that you can explore while staying here. There is a wifi facility as well if you want to work from the mountains.
