According to tradition, the name “Thiruvalla” comes from “valla vaay,” which refers to the river Manimala, once known as Valleys. Thiruvalla developed at the mouth of the Vallayar River, connecting various places through waterways. The town is well-known for its culture, education, and its financial and commercial significance. This homestay is conveniently located near the railway station, making it easily accessible for families. 

The homestay has two cozy, well-maintained rooms, each designed to provide maximum comfort. Both rooms are bright, airy, and full of character, with colorful decor that creates a welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities to ensure a pleasant stay, and are located on the first floor, offering a peaceful retreat. The rooms has a spacious, clean bathroom. Guests can access to the homestay through a separate staircase, which ensures complete privacy and convenience. There are charming living and dining area. You can enjoy the meal with family or simply unwinding after a day of exploring, the homestay’s heartwarming environment creates the ideal setting for relaxation and connection.

You will enjoy authentic homemade Kerala-style meals, freshly prepared at home using organic vegetables from the local market. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available with prior notice and on a paid basis. For breakfast, you can have freshly fried puri with baazi, steamed idli, or crispy dosa with sambhar and colorful chutneys. For lunch, you will be served either veg or non-veg biryani with salad and pickle. For dinner, a regular meal will be served. If you want fish, prawns, or any non-vegetarian dishes, please inform the host a day before, so they can prepare it accordingly.
