Panchgani is a popular hill station near Mahabaleshwar in Maharashtra, famous for its scenic valley view. It is surrounded by the five hills that form the Sahyadri Mountain topped by a volcanic plateau that is second highest in Asia after the Tibetan plateau. Krishna river flows in the valley on which Dhom Dam is constructed. Other than the verdant green valleys and soothing environment, the red strawberries are a major attraction of Panchgani. The farms of Panchgani are full of enchanting views of luscious berries, especially during February and March. Panchgani is also known for its boarding schools established since the late 19th century. They attract students from the nearby cities of Mumbai and Pune.
It is just 4 hr drive from Mumbai and 2 hr from Pune. There are regular Volvo bus service from Pune and Mumbai to Panchgani. The nearest airport is Pune at 110 km and Satara is the nearest railhead at 50 km.

Neha loves cooking and prepares delicious food. All the ingredients used in the kitchen are either from the kitchen garden in the backyard or are locally sourced from organic farms. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian options are available. Regular home cooked Indian food is served. You must try special biryani prepared by Neha and the barbeque. Other than finger licking delicious regular meals, she also makes the most amazing cakes and brownies that can be pre ordered.
