Akshi Village also has the fame of the Aakshi Pillar, a historic pillar that marks the establishment of the Sakharkhadi Bridge in 1928. The pillar is a tribute to the efforts of local people Dr. Vinayak Krishna Dongre and Mr. Dinkar Krishna Dongre. The village is known for pristine beaches, quaint temples & lush greenery. The homestay is just 1km from the beach from where you can enjoy beautiful sunrise and spot the exotic birds and migrated birds like plovers, seagulls, and oystercatchers.

Two of the first-floor rooms come with attached bathrooms, while the third shares a common one. All rooms are equipped with essential amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. A shared balcony connects the rooms and includes a cozy swing chair—perfect for unwinding with a book or simply soaking in the surroundings. At the heart of the home lies a spacious sitting area, beautifully decorated with local antique furnishings that add a touch of tradition and elegance. It’s a great space to gather, relax, or spend quality time with loved ones.

Step outside, and you’ll find a large swimming pool in the front yard—ideal for a refreshing dip. Right next to it, nestled in the garden, is an open-sided gazebo. Know Your Host

Ravi Narayan is the owner who now resides in Dombivli with his family. He has opened doors of his ancestral house to families providing them with an opportunity to live the serene village and beach life—a welcome respite from the urban chaos. To facilitate a homely stay, Ravi has also employed a caretaker who stays in the same compound, but in a different house, and is always on hand to help you with anything that you might require.
