Pangot is a tiny hamlet nestled in the Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand located just 13 kms from Nainital. Surrounded by thick forests, streams & walking trails, it is heaven for nature lovers. It has all the beauty that one can admire while just sitting and gazing at the clouds, the green valley, and the countless species of birds; an ideal destination for bird watching, mountain biking and trekking.
These independent wooden cottages are nestled among oak & rhododendron trees on unexplored and pristine Churani hill. Pangot is a picturesque half-an hour drive from Nainital and passes through the forested area of Cheena Peak Range. It takes a mesmerizing walk of around 10 min walk from Pangot to reach the cottages. The trek is rich in flora and fauna and is full of tiny waterfalls. Churani comes under Naina Devi Bird Conservation Reserve forest area and is favorite amongst Bird watchers and sky gazers. The land veils different colors through different seasons.
There are 4 beautifully designed and tastefully furnished rooms with huge windows that welcome the warm morning sun rays and greets the glittering night stars of the milky way. The rooms also have personal balconies that provide lovely views. There are ample sitting areas like the garden, bonfire area and the deck that will be used commonly by the guests staying. On the left of our cottage there is expansive space to trek.
