This eco-friendly homestay is built of oak wood in traditional Garhwali architecture style. The homestay has 4 spacious well furnished rooms, all on the ground floor with a shared balcony facing breathtaking views of the mountains. Two of them have attached bathrooms, while two have private bathrooms just outside the rooms. Large windows frame the breathtaking view, allowing guests to indulge in the splendor of the Himalayas from the comfort of their rooms. There’s also a comfortable porch—great for families or groups of friends to lounge around together, whether it’s beginning the day with a cup of coffee or having meals while appreciating the soft green hills or snow-clad peaks.

Bus, shared jeeps and private cabs are available from major cities like Rishikesh, Dehradun and Haridwar to Uttarkashi town. From there you can get cab to Agoda. The homestay is 300mt walk from the roadhead.

At the homestay, you will have a traditional home-cooked food prepared with fresh seasonal vegetables cooked using local Pahadi masalas. Meals include options of mountain specialties like fiddlehead ferns and wild mushrooms during summer, accompanied by dishes like kandali ki kaabli, chounsu, and aloo ka thechani, with an assortment of fresh, green leafy vegetables. Amaranth green ki roti, manduye ki roti, and ghehu ki roti are traditional breads that are accompanied by jhangore ka bhaat, red rice, dal, rajma, gehat, and bhatt ki daal, providing a complete and delicious taste of local Himalayan food. Non-vegetarian food is also provided on a paid basis with prior notice. For special diets or packed meals, just inform the host a day in advance.
