Mechuka, a tiny hamlet in Arunachal Pradesh, offers a captivating blend of nature, culture, and adventure. Tucked away in the West Siang district, it is one of the lesser-explored valleys in the region, with the mighty Siyom River, snow-capped peaks and a pristine lake. Mechuka’s untouched beauty, combined with its exotic tribal communities – the Membas, Ramos, Bokars, and Libos, and its iconic 400-year-old Samten Yangchag Monastery, Gurudwara Guru Nanak Taposthan and more spiritual sites makes it a perfect destination for those looking for an off beat experience.
