Port Blair put forward a unique and breathtaking experience with spectacular scenery, white sandy beaches, lush green islands with a colourful historical past and swaying palms combined with monuments and museums.  This standalone sea view triple storied building is located in the peaceful residential area of the beautiful town. It is at a walking distance from Flag point, Marina Park, and water sports complex.

There are 3 categories of guest rooms. The studio unit (Classic Room) with kitchenette and dining with study desk area is there on ground floor. It can accommodate 2-3 guests. The family suite on the second floor is apt for a group of friends or a family with two bedrooms, attached washrooms, living and dining area, kitchen and a common balcony and can accommodate 4-6 guests. On the third floor, there are 3 private panoramic sea view rooms (Superior Rooms) with kitchenette, attached washrooms and balcony. There is a lounge as well on third floor with seating capacity of 16 guests. All features combine together to make the homestay perfect place for long term stay and workation.

How to Reach

The homestay is at a distance of 6 km from the city center in a peaceful residential area. Andaman Islands are accessible by air and boat. Veer Savarkar International Airport is at a distance of 3.6 km from the homestay. It is well-connected with regular flights from Chennai and Kolkata. There are regular ship services leaving from Chennai, Kolkata and Vishakhapatnam to Port Blair. A journey of 50-60 hours in MV Nancowry and MV Swarajdeep from Chennai and the MV Nicobar and MV Akbar from Kolkata are the most preferred by the tourists to reach the city. Regular ferry services from Port Blair offers inter-connectivity options to reach different islands on Andaman.

Know Your Host

Vimal is the owner of the homestay who is a localite and now stays in Chennai. He is an architect by profession with wide range of experience in creating residences and hospitality projects, which had motivated him to renovate his 30 years old building to venture out into homestay segment. All the operations are taken care by his brother Ashwin, who stays with his family at the property on the second floor. The family is sweet and highly responsive. They can help with all other recommendations and services you might need during the trip.
