Beads and Wheels Homestay – Bomdila

Bomdila is a small Buddhist town in Arunachal Pradesh nestled high up in the eastern Himalayas. It is a photographer’s delight with breathtaking views of Kangte and Gorichen Peaks, the highest peaks of the state. It is a haven for adventure lovers with many options of outdoor adventure activities such as hiking, mountain biking and forest camping. Apart from the scenic landscapes, from Bomdila you can ride along the scenic road to Tawang, and to Bhutan’s border. The moment you set foot in Bomdila, you will get a mystic and peaceful feel with lamas roaming around in red robes with their prayer beads and wheels. Main attraction for the tourists in Bomdila includes Bomdila Monastery, Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Ling (GRL) Monastery, Craft Center and Ethnographic Museum, apple orchards, Bomdila View Point, RR Hills. 

It’s a newly built 3 storey house in a peaceful residential area of Bomdila. There are 8 rooms across 3 floors. 4 are double occupancy rooms with a living room, kitchen and bathroom. And there are 4 family suites, each suite has 2 interconnected rooms, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom. It is an affordable, safe and comfortable stay ideal for families and groups. Very well maintained

This place is very well maintained and the hosts are really very warm and hospitable. The food here was incredibly tasty and organic just fresh from their farms. Very happy that chose to stay here.

We went there in the month of May 2023 , with Sam tours n travels. Stay was awesome in homestay. I mean say , they are one the loveliest host . We loved their warm welcome and food with live music was amazing. 🤗🤗Thank you so much .



Overall very good experience

Stayed on 6th Dec 23, Very nice place and people too. I stayed for a one day and felt like a home. I'm pleased with thier hospitality and loved the room and food. Live music with heater was an add on in that cold 4° weather. Overall very good experience
