Dhekiajuli is a small town, 55km from Tezpur, in Sonitpur district of Assam with several tea estates in its vicinity. Some of the major ones include Julia, Sapoi, Dibru-Darrang, Deckiajuli TE and Tinkhuria.
This is an over hundred years old heritage bungalow of the Keshav Kanoi family that has been manufacturing black premium CTC Tea since 1914. Legacy of five generations, 2600 acres of Sapoi tea plantations surrounds this heritage tea estate bungalow, and the stay here is truly an experience to cherish. A heady concoction of old world architecture, birdsongs, vivid flora, delectable home cooked meals is what makes it a perfect place to seek solace for your stressed up minds.
The bungalow has 6 spacious tastefully done rooms for guests and a living room followed by a large dining area. The place is beautifully done with a lot of space to unwind. A large open area with a gazebo in front, gardens all around, a machan at the back with a sitting area, the organic kitchen garden, games area with table tennis board, and the activity area with a huge round swing. There is a tree house as well.
You can engage in activities like planting your own tea saplings, pruning the tea bushes, cycling, joining the estate staff in their daily chores or going on a tea factory tour. Bike tours or photo walks at the tea estate can also be arranged.

Orang National Park is around 30 km from Dhekiajuli. Guwahati Airport is the nearest airport, 147 km.There is a train from Guwahati to Dhekiajuli Road once daily. Hiring a cab is the most comfortable option to reach the estate.
