Situated on the bank of River Brahmaputra, Guwahati is the largest and fastest growing city of Assam. It is known for its rich culture, cuisine, celebration of festivals and its cosmopolitan nature. The Kamakhya Temple, which is a Shaktipeeth, is the most famous landmark here. While the present city was developed later, it has been inhabited for a long time and the ancient temples and archaeological ruins are a testimony to that. Some of the ancient artifacts can be seen in the Guwahati Museum which is located not far from one of the major excavation sites. The southern border of the city touches the hills of Meghalaya and so there are a lot of natural escapes, small hikes, and waterfalls in this area. Guwahati is also the gateway to the Northeast.

Abundance homestay is an aesthetically decorated and well furnished two bedroom penthouse on the second floor of a quiet apartment. Located in the heart of the city, it has easy accessibility to prime locations. It’s a great place to relax with family as well as friends as the house is blessed with abundant space and greenery. There are spacious balconies, a large living room and hall, backyard and a parking space. You also have a well equipped kitchen in case you want to cook something. The place is pet friendly.

How To Reach

There are direct train and flight services to Guwahati from most major Indian cities. It has its own railway station in the city at 2km and the airport is located 25 km from the homestay.

Simple home cooked breakfast is served with options like stuffed paratha, butter toast with omlet, tea/ coffee etc. Lunch and dinner can be provided on prior intimation.
