This is a beautifully restored traditional Kutch Haveli built in 1905. Located in a peaceful village away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is built within a 2 acre area and took three years to complete. It is the private residence of the Devpur family and is the only accommodation of its kind in Kutch. Built of local sandstone in the classically ornamental Roha (Kutch) style, it consists of porticos, courtyards, stucco pavilions and pillared halls. This heritage property is very well maintained and is modified to accommodate modern amenities. It is listed as a member of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) due to its historical and architectural importance.
There are 5 tastefully done rooms for the guests with interiors that reflect the bygone era and yet have all modern comfort. The artfully designed rooms, the serene village atmosphere, and the personal attention of the owners makes it an ideal stay to experience Kuchh and its culture.
