Bhanoo Village

Bhanoo is a small village located 11 km from the center of Panchkula, Haryana. It is famous for the ruins of the Chandel Rajputs and trekking in Morni Hills teemed with Khol Hi-Raitan Wildlife Sanctuary, Bir Shikargah Wildlife Sanctuary and views of Shivalik foothills. Just 4-5 hrs of drive from Delhi, it serves as a perfect stopover for people going to Manali. Chandigarh airport is 30 km away from Bhanoo village.

The Homestay

It is one of the ancestral haveli of the Chandel family, the descendants of Chandel Dynasty whose Empire extended over entire Central India from the years 800-1182 AD. The property was constructed in 1945 by Kawar Mohan Singh Chandel and is a replica of the Ramgarh House in Lahore. It was inherited by Deiji Sukshma Singh Chandel, mother of NB Singh, the present owner.

Chandel family recently opened the doors of the haveli to the tourists. It offers two big guest rooms called Bada Kamra and two comparatively smaller rooms called Gol Kamra; both comes with balcony, attached bathrooms and other modern facilities. There is a garden, terrace, swimming pool, lush green lawn and a private bar to have a well spent weekend. They also have a farm and a sitting area amidst the beauty of nature.
