The Homestay

Located in village Chadiara in the Panj-la Valley, about 12 kilometers from the town of Chamba in Himachal, this lovely heritage homestay is located on a mountain overlooking the valley. It is nestled in 10 acres of organic farm land, full of fruits, vegetable, medicinal herbs and variety of flora & fauna. You get a breathtaking bird’s eye view of the mighty river Saal in the valley below. There are 8 spacious rooms, all come with attached bathrooms.

You will be hosted by Dhami family who spent a lifetime building this dream home. This is also a working farm which provides livelihood to the local people. Enjoy working from this lovely place and relish delicious organic meals. Enjoy farm activities, learn cow milking, take a dip in the spring pool on a hot afternoon or sip Chai as you watch the sunset over the mountains. 

How to Reach

20-30 minute walk will take you to this hidden gem (Don’t worry about the luggage, the house help will bring it up). It’s 12 km from Chamba Town. Pathankot railway station & airport is about 124 km and Gaggal (Dharamshala) airport is 100 km away.

Sneh Lata offers home cooked organic food. She is very good in preparing local pahadi cuisine. The supply to kitchen comes from her own farm or local market. Non veg can be requested at an extra cost. She can arrange all special type of diets on request prior to arrival.

His wife Sneh Lata has a wonderful talent in the kitchen and teaches different Indian cuisines. Daughter Phalguini along with her husband Naveen takes care of the valuable guests. Their two small children greet everyone with a lovely smile. Prakash Dhami’s eldest son Nitin and his wife Maureen with their global adventures in tourism have many stories to tell. Youngest son Vinayak has studied Hospitality & Tourism, will offer a professional experience to your stay.
