Banikhet is a gorgeous hamlet situated in the Dhauladhar Range of the Himalayas in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. It is just 9 km from Dalhousie and is known as the gateway of Chamba. Banikhet possesses a number of tourist attractions including the Historical Naag Mandir, Jawala Mata Mandir, Chamera dam, Ennan Mata Waterfall etc. You can also enjoy the trek up to Dainkund Peak leading to Pholani Devi Temple.

Surrounded by thick Pine forests and Rhododendron, it’s a peaceful homestay close to nature offering picturesque views. There are two cottages. One cottage has 3 Superior Rooms and an Attic Room; all with attached washrooms. The other is a Family Cottage consisting of 3 bedrooms and 2 washrooms, ideal for a group of 6-8 people. Both the cottages have their private entrance and drawing/dining area. They also have a bonfire and barbeque area.
