Sainj, 50 km from Kullu in Himachal Pradesh, is a beautiful valley situated along the Sainj River and lies on the foothills of the Great Himalayan National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shangarh is a tiny village in the valley surrounded by picture perfect mountains and greenery. This charming homestay is located in a dreamy location of the mountains very close to Shangarh meadow and the waterfall in a quiet location and offers the travelers to Sainj valley an idyllic experience. How to Reach

Bhuntar Airport is the nearest airport  located in Kullu at 52 km from the homestay. Buses and cabs are available from Kullu to Sainj. The homestay is around 15 km from Sainj Valley. One can hire a local cab to reach the homestay.

You will be hosted by Suchita, an artist by profession and her partner Vikas who is a Software engineer. They both are mountain lovers and believe in vocal for local and its visible in their whole house interior. Suchi always had a dream to live in Mountains and one day on her solo trip to Himalayas she reached this place called Shangarh. She was amazed by the beauty of the place, and decided to make it her home. The homestay is a labor of love for this sweet couple who conceptualized it.

Vikas is a simple & friendly person who will happily provide you company if you love to talk and Suchi is a multifaceted personality – amiable host, accomplished dancer & singer, interior designer.  She can plan and organize walks to quaint villages around or the treks to higher meadows as per your interest.
