Koksar is the first village that comes after entering Lahaul on Leh-Manali Highway. Situated on the banks of the Chandra River, Koksar has a very unique terrain, with patches of greenery beautifully complementing the turquoise streams cutting through the golden pebbles. The place offers some of the best trekking routes in the entire state. This homestay is a perfect place for someone who want to simply immerse in nature. Experience the local way of life and get a glimpse into the culture and traditions of the region.

It’s a family home with two floors.  There are 5 rooms for the guests; 3 rooms with attached bathroom, 1 room with shared bathroom and 1 dormitory with 5 single beds. Guests can embark on hikes and trekking expeditions, taking in the stunning scenery of the region. You can also visit the serene and picturesque Chandra River, which is surrounded by majestic peaks, and go on wildlife safaris, where you can spot rare and exotic species of animals and birds.

Koksar is located 43 km from Manali on Leh-Manali highway. The Bhuntar airport is the nearest airport located at 92 km. Local private/ shared cabs are available from the Airport and from Manali.
