Chitkul lies in the mystically beautiful Kinnaur-Kailash region of Himachal Pradesh. Located on right bank of Baspa River, is the last village of the Baspa Valley and the last village on the old Hindustan-Tibet trade route. During the winter, the place mostly remains covered with the snow. According to a recent study by Centre of Atmospheric Sciences at IIT Delhi, Chitkul has the cleanest air in India.

This neatly maintained homestay is located in a picturesque surroundings and overlooks the lush green pine forests and has a panoramic view of snowclad Himalayan peaks. It is also close to bus stand and attraction points like temple, monastery, river and trekking trails. There are 5 spacious rooms for the guests, all with attached bathrooms. How to Reach

The nearest airport to Chitkul is the Shimla airport located in Jubbarhatti (245km). After Shimla, the next nearest airport is the Bhuntar airport (259km) between Chandigarh and Manali. These are however small airports and flights to both these places are limited. The nearest major airport is at Chandigarh (350km) which is connected with several flights from all over the country. Kalka Railway station is the nearest railway station at 329km.
