Nestleaway Homestay Horangad – Tirthan Valley, Kullu

Tirthan valley perfectly defines “beauty in simplicity” with its gigantic Himalayas, lush greenery, and colored roofs, which produce a heavily scenery like nothing comparable. Tirthan valley is not only a haven for bird lovers, but also a paradise for trekkers as it offers enormous trekking opportunities. Horangad is a tiny village in the valley with amazing natural beauty.

This traditional house is made from wood, mud, and stone in Kathkuni architecture and can be reached through a 15-minute walking trail to the village Horangad in Tirthan Valley. Set amidst a dense forest and fruit orchards, it is an ideal place to unravel from the monotony of big cities and overflowing tourist getaways. The place is peacefully secluded and offers a true organic living experience with a touch of modernness.

It is a double-storey house with 2 family suite rooms with an attached balcony and a big courtyard. Both rooms have a 360-degree view of the mountains. There are also two separate kitchens to cater to both the rooms individually. The owner also stays on the property but in a separate space. It is a paradise for birders, hikers, artists, yoga enthusiasts and just anybody who loves to witness nature in sheer silence and peace. Don’t forget to visit the family of Peacock’s living at the homestay when you plan to visit.

How To Reach

Bhuntar is the nearest airport located at 44 kms from the village. The nearest towns to Horangad are Banjar, Kullu and Aut. There is a frequent Volvo bus service between Delhi and Aut. The village can be accessed either by self-driving or a hired cab either from Aut or Banjar.
