Located on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Along its course through the city, the Jhelum River is spanned by numerous canals and waterways abound with floating gardens and Shikaras. Srinagar is well known for its many mosques and temples; the Hazratbal Mosque and the Jama Masjid, built in the 15th century, is said to be the largest mosque in Kashmir. Dal Lake, with its “floating gardens,” is a well-known attraction, as are the nearby Shalimar and Nishat gardens.
This beautiful bungalow with a vintage feel is located in a peaceful locality in the heart of Srinagar. It is just 5 min drive from the Dal Lake and stone throw away from the market yet far away from the rush and hustle bustle of Srinagar city. There are 14 elegantly designed, tastefully done spacious rooms out of which 3 are Classic Room, 6 Superior Room, 3 Premium Room and 2 Suite Room. Premium and Suite Rooms come with central heating facility. All rooms have attached bathrooms with modern fittings. There is a well maintained beautiful garden in front that is full of seasonal fruits and flowers.

How To Reach
Srinagar has its own Airport that is located at a distance of around 10 km from the city center. The nearest railway station is Banihal 79 km and the Jammu Tawi (271 km) and the Udhampur Railway Station (200 km). Srinagar is also well connected on roads from Jammu, Anantnag, Katra etc. and has bus service from all major cities.

Anita serves pure vegetarian food. Breakfast options include breads-brown/white, French Fries, cheese, baked beans, and a choice of homemade Jams- like strawberry, apricot and apple, Stuffed Paratha with curd.
