The house is perched on a beautiful hillock in the midst of a forest away from all the hustle and bustle of the town in south Coorg just about 3 km from the town of Virajpet. It faces the gorgeous valley of Coorg offering stunning views of lush green hills. There are 3 spacious mountain facing rooms, with a huge balcony and an attached bathroom in each; a family room that can accommodate a group of 6 people. There is a private bathroom adjacent to the family room. The stay has all modern comforts and a contemporary decor. The open balconies provide uninterrupted valley views and splendid sunset views. Sunil Uthappa, the owner of the homestay is a very humble and genuine person. He manages the Global Procurement function for Global IT MNC and works remotely from here. Sunil is a great conversationalist and you are sure to have a great time chatting with him about anything in this world – he is a widely travelled technologist. He is a down to earth person and very helpful. Sunil, being a local can guide you well on planning the best itinerary to avoid crowded places and also the best places to shop.
Enjoy delicious homemade food as per your choice. Breakfast consists of local cuisine (Paaputtu with Egg / Vegetable Curry) or Aloo Paratha or Puri & Potato or Idli/Vada with coconut chutney and sambar along with Bread, Butter & Jam, Coffee or Tea. Non veg meals consist of Chapati, Rice, Chicken or Fish or Mutton Curry, Dal Fry, Veg Sabzi, Pickle Papad and Curd.
