The Coffee Manor Homestay – Sakleshpur

Situated on the foothills of the Western Ghats, Sakleshpur is a picturesque hill town of Karnataka. The place is blessed with a huge amount of tea, coffee, cardamom, pepper and areca plantations. The region around Sakleshpur that includes Bisle Reserve Forest is listed as one of the 18 most diverse spots in the world in terms of flora and fauna and thus is heaven for nature enthusiasts and bird watchers. The 56 km railway track from Sakleshpur to the Subramanya Road Station is perfect for trekking & camping. There are 58 tunnels, 109 bridges, and about 25 waterfalls on this trek. There are numerous mystic temples and ancient forts in Sakleshpur that make it a perfect destination for art and architecture lovers as well. 

This tastefully constructed independent villa is surrounded by lush green coffee and spice plantations. It is strategically located between Sakleshpur and Belur, just around 15km in both directions and is in close proximity to most of the Sakleshpur, Belur and  Chikmagalur attractions. Just around 3 hrs drive from Bangalore, the homestay is ideal for a weekend break in the lap of nature. There are ample activities to do. Go for jeep safari or take a walking tour of the estate; play badminton or relax in the pool; enjoy music, campfire or try your hand at barbecue. The homestay is ideal for families and groups of friends. 

The villa has 7 spacious well-maintained bedrooms with different capacities; there are 3 triple sharing rooms, 2 rooms can accommodate 4 people, 2 other rooms can accommodate 5 people each. There is a hall that can accommodate 12. All rooms have an attached bathroom.  The furniture is purely made of teak wood which gives a nice look to the villa. There are many open seating spaces where you can read, relax or work. Tents can also be pitched in the garden.

How To Reach

Sakleshpur is located on National Highway 48, which connects Bangalore and Mangalore. It is 225 km from Bangalore and 130 km from Mangalore. The nearest airport is Mangalore and the nearest railway station is at Shakleshpur (23 kms).
