Kalimalli, Rajakkadu

Rajakkadu is a small town in Idukki district of Kerala in western Ghats, just around 29 km from the tea plantations of Munnar. There’s something  for everyone in and around this picturesque town. Water falls and beautiful valleys for the nature lovers, forest reserve for the wildlife lovers, Speed Boat Riding, Paragliding and Bungee Jumping for the adventurous ones.

With quiet and peaceful surroundings, the homestay overlooks the Ponmudi Dam and is next to Kalimalli view point. Grace Waters, the lake just at the doorstep make it a dream place to holiday. The homestay consist of three double bedrooms; two rooms are with attached bathrooms and one with common bathroom. There is an open veranda and a dining area.

Kalimalli is a tiny village in Idukki, 3 kms from Rajakkadu that is famous for its view point that offers a majestic distant views of the Ponmudi Reservoir, the island and its catchment areas that has dense forest. The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport at 110 km while the nearest railway station is Aluva at 107 km.

They love to have guests over and will do their best to make their guests comfortable and feel at home.
