This tiny house is located on the bank of a river in Chooralmala, around 35 km from Wayanad. It is an extremely scenic hill station on the State Highway between Kozhikode and Ooty.  

Nestled amidst nature in a peaceful and serene environment surrounded by lush greenery, this tastefully done homestay has 2 thoughtfully furnished rooms for a cozy stay. The window view from both bedrooms is amazing. Both rooms have attached bathrooms and there is a fully equipped kitchen as well for those who want to cook. There is a thorough attention to details, for example, the addition of a speaker for music to add a a delightful touch to your stay. Every amenity one could desire is provided.

An air conditioner is installed in the common areas, including the dining, living, and kitchen areas. This addition is aimed at providing relief during the hotter hours of the day, ensuring that you can relax and enjoy your time indoors in a cool and comfortable environment. However, please note that air conditioning is not there in the bedrooms. This decision is based on the observation that the bedrooms remain relatively cooler at night, eliminating the need for additional cooling. Hosts believe that this setup strikes a balance between comfort and energy efficiency, and they’re confident that it will contribute to a more enjoyable stay for their guests.

How to Reach

The nearest Calicut International Airport is located at 94km from Chooranmala Village. Kozhikode (89km) and Nilambur Road Railway Station (95km) are the nearest railway stations. Kerala State Road Transport Corporation operates a bus from Ernakulam to Kalpetta twice daily. Take a cab for comfortable journey to reach Chooranmala from there.
