Leh, the capital city of the union territory of Ladakh, is a traveler’s delight. Located at an altitude of 11,562 ft, it is home to Leh palace, Shanti Stupa and several ancient Buddhist monasteries. Leh Market is an ideal place for shopping in Ladakh. Other places of interest around Leh are the Magnetic Hill known for its optical illusion, confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers in Nimmu and the sacred Sikh gurudwara, Patthar Sahib.

It is a family run homestay away from the hustle and bustle of the main market yet not very far from it. Leh main market is just a kilometer away from here and all the main tourist spots of Leh like Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Zorawar Fort, Hall of fame are nearby. 

There are 2 Superior Rooms with mountain view and 9 Classic Rooms with garden views. All rooms come with attached bathroom. There is one Budget Room as well on the ground floor with a shared bathroom. Host family stays on the ground floor. The homestay has lush green surroundings with a lot of flowers, Apple trees and a vegetable garden from where fresh vegetables are picked to cook delicious meals.

Food

They serve pure home cooked Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian meals according to the requirements of the guests. The homestay has a vegetable patch which supplies most of the kitchen vegetables. The boys who manage the kitchen are excellent cooks. Do try stuffed parathas with freshly plucked cauliflower from their vegetable patch.
