Man Village – Pangong

Man village is a hidden jewel of Ladakh, located on the shore of Pangong lake away from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas. It has amazingly beautiful scenery and astoundingly clear night skies.

Located on the foot of a hill on shore of Pangong lake away from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas, this homestay is set up with an objective of preserving the local culture and generating livelihood. The place is cozy and has an amazing view of the lake. It is one of the best homestays to stay in Pangong. You can sip a hot cup of tea on the porch and enjoy the gorgeous sunrise. There are 4 spacious rooms for guests and all rooms with an attached bathroom. In winters there is no running water, however dry compost toilet can be used.

Dorjeay’s mother cooks food for guests and can cook almost everything one would like to have. Regular Indian food like roti, vegetable curry , rice , dal and pickles etc can be provided. But since you are visiting quite an exotic place with its own unique taste, do try dishes like Momos, Thukpa, Skyu, Thentuk etc.
