This old colonial house located in the heart of Shillong was built by the British tea planters in 1942 and was bought by the local Khasi family in 1961. It is now converted into a charming home-stay. There is one spacious twin sharing room available for long stay with an attached toilet and bath. There are tastefully done common spaces that include a dining area, living room and a well-maintained lawn. Every corner of the house has a character of its own.

How to Reach 

Shillong Airport, located 35 km away at Umroi is the nearest airport. Another option is Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at Guwahati, which is approximately 130 km away from Shillong. Guwahati Railway Station is the nearest railhead to Shillong, which is about 135 km away. Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) and Meghalaya Transport Corporation (MTC) buses operate from Guwahati to Shillong. Cabs are also available, both private and shared.
