This old colonial house located in the heart of Shillong was built by the British tea planters in 1942 and was bought by the local Khasi family in 1961. It is now converted into a charming home-stay. It has 2 tastefully done spacious bedrooms with attached toilet and bath, a dining area, a living room and a beautifully maintained lawn. Every corner of the house has a character of its own. You will be welcomed by a well traveled, multi-talented lady, Aunty Mayborn and her daughter Janess. Aunty Mayborn loves to experiment with food and cooks delicious local as well as international cuisine.

Shillong Airport, located 35 km away at Umroi is the nearest airport. Another option is Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at Guwahati, which is approximately 130 km away from Shillong. Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) and Meghalaya Transport Corporation (MTC) buses operate from Guwahati to Shillong. Cabs are also available, both private and shared.
