Alibaug is a small coastal town in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, located about 110km from Mumbai and 150km from Pune. Steeped in colonial history, Alibaug is known for its beaches and water sports like parasailing, jet ski and speed boating. Located in village Choul, at a distance of 12 kms from main Alibag city on Alibag-Revdanda Road, this homestay provides a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat with modern amenities in a lush, rural setting. Revdanda beach, a fairly peaceful and clean beach is just 10 min walk from the homestay. It is amazing to see the depleted Revdanda Fort walls alongside the beach. It is perfect to place to enjoy mesmerizing sunrise and sunset. There are many ancient temples as well to explore in the village.
There are two buildings spread across one-acre farm of coconut, beetle and mango trees. The main building has six rooms on ground floor, all with attached bathrooms and individual sit outs in back side facing fields. The host family stays on the first floor of this villa. These rooms can be taken individually. Another building is a stand alone duplex villa with 3 rooms on the first floor and 2 rooms on the ground floor. All the rooms are spacious with king size beds and attached bathrooms. There is a large living room with a powder room and a fully equipped functional kitchen for self cooking on the ground floor and 2 huge balconies on the first floor. This villa is lent out only to the groups and can accommodate 10-15 people. Cook can be provided on a nominal charge.
In between both the villas is a huge covered swimming pool and a kitchen with sit out area to enjoy your meals.

How to Reach
The nearest airport is Mumbai Airport which is located 110 km from the homestay. From Mumbai, there are multiple ways to reach. The quickest way to reach Alibaug is by boat to Mandwa Jetty from the Gateway of India in South Mumbai’s Colaba neighborhood. It takes about an hour to reach Mandwa Jetty by ferry, or 20 minutes by speedboat.

They serve authentic homemade local cuisine. In breakfast, they generally serve butter toast, tea/ coffee, cornflakes with milk, poori sabji, poha, paratha etc. with tea/ coffee. Lunch and dinner can be provided by the host on advance request. If you are a group living in the villa, you can self cook. Cook can be arranged on a nominal extra cost. Barbecue kit and charcoal, along with marinated chicken, fish and vegetables can be provided on additional cost subjected to prior intimation.
