Cherrapunji, a magical wonderland in Meghalaya, is located on a plateau in the southern edge of the Khasi Hills facing the plains of Bangladesh. Mysterious caves, gushing waterfalls and amazing living root bridges make it a must visit destination. The best time to visit Cherrapunji is between the months of October and May, when the weather remains cool and pleasant. 

Located conveniently on Sohra-Shella road with all tourist attractions nearby, Rainland Homestay is a perfect place to stay for exploring Cherrapunji. There are 4 rooms for the guests across two floors. All rooms have an attached bathroom and can accommodate 3 people. There is ample space outside for sitting as well as parking your cars.

Umroi Airport Shillong is the nearest airport located at a distance of 80 km. You can easily find taxis from Shillong airport to Cherrapunji. Another major international airport close to Cherrapunji is Guwahati Airport (LGBI Airport) around 165 kms away.
