Khasi Pride Homestay, Nohwet – Mawlynnong

Nohwet village is located just around 4 kms from Mawlynnong, in the southern part of Pynursla, Meghalaya. The main attraction of Nohwet, is the famous Living Root Bridge, a marvelous example of symbiosis between Man and Nature. Apart from this, the village also has other attractions like serene waterfalls, rock formations and a historical dwelling, more than 150 years old.  The village also produces and supplies one of the best quality areca nuts (kwai) in Khasi and JaIntia hills.

Located in the serene surroundings near the living root bridge in Nohwet village this is a beautiful home of a local family. It is a very good alternate to homestays in Mawlynnong that are getting commercialized. There are 3 spacious and comfortable rooms for the guests. One has attached bathroom and other two have a common bathroom.
