Dera Bassi is a satellite city of Chandigarh. It is strategically located near the boundary of Haryana, Punjab and Union territory of Chandigarh on Delhi – Chandigarh highway. One of the most appreciated gated community in Tricity is ATS in Dera Bassi, where we have a villa. Ensconced in one of the cul de sac of this 330 acres housing society is our independent home.

The homestay is an independent two storey bungalow with ample of natural light and hundreds of plants, including many Bougainvillea. It has four bedrooms with en-suite washrooms. The ground floor consist of drawing, dinning and one bedroom. The host lives on the first floor which has two more rooms for the guest. There is a small gym, a roof top, having full facilities for a bonfire in the evening (in winter) and barbecue to complete your day.

Chandrika serve freshly cooked local cuisine and North Indian vegetarian food. Non-vegetarian is available on demand. Breakfast is served as per your choice like Paratha with curd or tea, Sandwich, Butter Toast, Bread Omelette or Puri Bhaji. Lunch and dinner can be ordered online and is also available at home.

Know your Host

Chandrika Sud and her husband, an ex army officer, spend about 9 months in this home; rest of the time (mainly peak summer time) is spent in their home in the mountains in Kinnaur. Chandrika takes care of the home and guests where as Capt Sud takes care of the plants at home.
