Ethnic Homestay – Ranthambore

Located in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, Ranthambore is one of the most renowned National Parks in North India. It is known for the high density of the Royal Bengal Tigers and a wide variety of other animals and birds.  Ranthambore is a paradise for not just the wildlife enthusiasts but also for photographers, nature lovers and history buffs. The dense tropical forest, grassy meadows, open bushland and rocky terrain interspersed with lakes and streams make its landscapes extremely beautiful. The land occupied by the national park was once used by the Rajput rulers of Jaipur as private hunting grounds. Today, the ruins of the Ranthambore Fort set dramatically on a cliff on Thambhore Hill in the center of the park surrounded by lush green forest, palaces, lakes, and ponds is an attraction of its own.

This eco-friendly house surrounded with lush greenery is located in a peaceful tiny village, close to Ranthambore National Park entrance. The house is made in typical Rajasthani style and has a beautiful view of Guava orchard, green fields and Aravalli hills from the terrace. You can enjoy the village ambiance while having the comfort of all modern amenities. It is one of the best places to stay if you want to experience the culture, food and the real life of the area.

There are 5 spacious rooms for the guests all with an attached washroom. The homestay has a enough open spaces to move around and relax. Know your Host

You will be hosted by a warm and hospitable couple Rachna and Ratnesh Verma. They both are nature and wildlife lovers and have experience in tourism. They have been visiting Ranthambore since long and loved the place so much that they decided to settle here. Ratnesh realized that there are many hotels and guest houses in the area but no authentic homestay where you can get the feel of the place. So he created this beautiful home with an ethnic feel, for nature and wildlife lovers. His love for the local culture can be seen in the way he is managing it. Starting from the interiors to the food, everything has an ethnic touch. He has an experience of more than two decades in the tourism industry and can speak Hindi, English, German and Italian fluently and also can communicate in French and Spanish in a moderate way.
