Possibly no city in Rajasthan is quite as romantic as Udaipur – the Venice of the East. The homestay is surrounded by Aravali mountain range and situated in the vicinity of Kewra Reserve Forest and famous Jaisamand lake. It’s a secluded nature home stay just 30 km south of Udaipur in a tribal village, Oda. There are traditional eco-friendly, Bhunga huts with attached toilet to stay and relax in dense aromatic and medicinal plants. Well maintained swimming pool, a small artificial water fall and two lawns with garden swings, indoor outdoor games are sufficient to make your holiday a memorable one. Camping facility is also available within the homestay premises. There are six huts in-house with a kitchen & dinning are. Each hut is equipped with AC, LED, fridge and attached bathroom with running hot and cold water. The whole place is overlooking the mountains.
You meet Dr. V. P. Gupta retired Professor of Agriculture with wife Aruna Gupta as your host. They resides in one of the hut to look after their guests. Dr. V. P. Gupta is a nature lover while Aruna Gupta is very social, friendly and always available to help her guests.
You get only vegetarian food here. Use of narcotics and smoking is strictly prohibited in the home. There is a well trained chef to cook fresh and hygienic food including traditional Indian, Rajasthani and Continental food.
