Saroa – Mandi

Saroa is a beautiful place near Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, located on a mountain ridge. It offers a unique view of Bahl valley and various ranges of Himalayas on a clear day. There is a temple and a small ground on the ridge. Saroa is also a starting point of trek to Kamrunag Lake. Apple orchards and hill farming can be seen along the road till Saroa.

Away from all the hustle and bustle of the city, this homestay is located on an idyllic corner in Chail Chowk around 3 kms from Jalpa Mata Temple (Saroa Devi). It will not be an exaggeration to call it a hidden jewel. Perched on a hill top in the midst of nature, you can enjoy the spectacular sunset view and valley view from here. It is one of the best stays in the region if you want to experience snow. During the winter months the area is blessed with an immense amount of snow and the soft snow on the undulating slopes makes the region look spectacular.

Breakfast options are stuffed paratha, puri sabji, toast, egg to order, tea/ coffee etc. Meals include regular north Indian food like vegetables, paneer, dal, rice, roti, curd etc. Home cooked himachali dham is also available on request, it is the specialty of the region and consists of 5-6 vegetarian dishes.
