Nalukettu, as the name suggests it is a traditional homestead with traditional architecture in a shape of a rectangle with a central courtyard that is open to sky. The entire house faces adequate sunlight and has excellent ventilation. This beautiful nalukettu beams of fragrant jasmines coiling up mango trees. Nestled amidst emerald greenery, Hindu temples, and serene beaches stand a cozy hideout with open arms.

This traditional cottage stands tall in its primordial charm. This villa is made of solid wood and has two floors. The ground floor has three double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms. On the 1st floor, there is one double bedroom. All the rooms have beautiful wooden furnishing and have attached washrooms for the guests. This nalukettu also has a kitchen and a courtyard for common use.

How To Reach

The nearest harbor is Vizhinjam, which is located 14 kms from the town. Trivandrum is the nearest airport located 30 kms from the town. There is a railway station at Neyyattinkara (9km) and Trivandrum (27km). The town can be accessed either by self-driving or a hired cab either from Trivandrum or Neyyattinkara.
