Ghoradeshwar – Pune

Ghoradeshwar is located around 30 kms from Pune in Maharashtra. It is named after the bird ‘Great Indian bustard’ known as Ghorad in the local Marathi language.  The Ghoradeshwar Forest hill offers numerous explored as well as unexplored trails and treks with rare bird and butterfly sightings. One of there trails of about 45 mins to 1 hour each way leads to the summit. There are 11th century Buddhist caves as well as a Shiva temple on top.  Just around 120kms from Mumbai it is an ideal weekend break.

Located on the fourth floor of a residential Condominium complex on the foothills of the tropical bio-diverse Ghoradeshwar Forest hills. This 2500 sq ft penthouse is surrounded by breathtaking views of the Forest. It has a 400 sq ft open kitchen with a bar and a serving counter with an attached washroom and a bedroom with bunk beds. It has an enormous open terrace with a beautiful pergola.

This ideal deck provides a pristine experience starting from waking to the sound of chirping birds, yoga with surreal sunrise views, warm reading space under the sun, gardening space, nearby trekking routes, mountain biking or rappelling on the forest trails, a hammock for a short nap or to laze around and a bean bag to comfortably listen to the sounds of the water gushing downhill from the nearby streams. There is a curated library and personalised barbecue grill which doubles up as a fire pit. It is a perfect hideout for couples, friends, family and solo travelers to relax and reconnect.

Deepak is a serving military pilot, who loves to socialize but will not be able to interact in person unless he is on leave. He is an enthusiastic soul, eager to guide and assist his guests in exploring the local neighborhood, food options etc., throughout their stay. The property does have a caretaker who can be easily assessed as he stays in the same building.
