Anjuna is a laid-back coastal village located 18 kilometers from Panaji on the Arabian sea in North Goa. The Anjuna Beach with swaying palm trees and unusual rocky formations, is one of the popular beaches in Goa and has an inflow of tourists throughout the year. It has a rich past of hippie culture. However, this beach that stretches almost 2 km is also popular amongst families and water sports lovers. It also hosts trance parties. It is also famous for the flea market every wednesday. The flea market is a heaven for shoppers; you get everything here from wonderful blends of Tibetan, Kashmiri and Gujarati trinkets and handicrafts to European snacks, cassettes of a noisy brand of music called ‘Goa Trance’, artificial ornaments, carvings and T-shirts.   

Located in the midst of a throbbing heartbeat of Anjuna, this charming homestay is tucked away in a quiet lane lined with quaint Portuguese houses just at a walking distance from Anjuna Beach. Surrounded by coconut and mango trees, and a lush green foliage, the villa has a cool laid-back atmosphere, ideal for solo backpackers, couples, and families with kids. From the adjacent forest, the gorgeously plumed peacocks regularly visit the homestay. Being in the heart of Anjuna the guests have access to the beach, which is just a few minutes walk, popular clubs and restaurants, and all those exotic places brimming with fun. 

There are 6 spacious guest rooms with plush interiors. 4 rooms on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor just adjacent to the rooftop. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with wall paints that give a Mediterranean feel. Each room can accommodate 4 people and has a balcony opening out into the garden and a lush greenery. The place also has a small sized pool and a rooftop hangout space. Wifi also works well with good speed. Perfect space to relax, enjoy, and work in Goa.

Dabolim International Airport is 45 km, Thivim Railway Station is 18.5 km and Vasco Da Gama Railway station is 46 km from here. Regular road service is also available from Mumbai.

Sameer Gawde, the owner is an IT guy by profession, but a nomad at heart. He loves to travel and see more of the world. Supporting his nomadic lifestyle is his wife, who likes to keep life unpredictable whilst working on her writing assignments. They’ve lived in the US for most of their lives, but keep coming back to India for food, family and fun. Staying in homestays has become a part of their lives, where they are constantly meeting new people, learning something new and discovering new passions. Using their travel experiences from all over, they started hosting guests to provide the kind of staycation they would like to have.

Come down to Goa and share a beer with him, but if he is on the road, his manager, Anthony, will look after you during your stay. Anthony is a gem of a person and he will go an extra mile to keep his guests happy.
