Pangot is a tiny hamlet just 15 km from Nainital in Uttarakhand, where the sheer population of birds outnumbers humans. Placed in the hilly Kumaon region, this sleepy little place is nestled within a lush green forest, a few streams and serene walking trails with more than 250 species of birds. There are many local nature trails and hikes around like Cheena peak, Ganiyal Devi, waterfall etc. that you can undertake while staying here. You can also go on day excursions to places like Nainital, Kainchi dham etc. If farming interests you, you can also get involved in local farm activities and food cultivation.

With 6 years experience in the hospitality industry, they are fully aware of the guest needs and have taken care of every small detail while making this homestay. Their team extremely hospitable and will do their best to make your stay comfortable.
They serve pure home cooked Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian meals according to the requirements of the guests. Breakfast options are poha, puri subji, butter toast, egg to order, paratha, porridge, corn flakes etc. Regular north Indian meals and Kumaoni local food is available on advance order. All the organically grown local vegetables, lentils and cereals are used in cooking. Do try a variety of badis, bhatt ki dal, and different types of chutneys.
