Located on a ridge at an altitude of 5500 ft, Gangtok provides a spectacular view of the Khangchendzonga, the 3rd highest mountain in the world. How to Reach
Pakyong airport is just 25 kms from Gangtok. It has limited connectivity with other cities. The nearest major well-connected airport is in Bagdogra about 128 kilometres away. Cabs are available from the airport.
