The capital city of Sikkim, Gangtok is located on a ridge at an altitude of 5500 ft. and provides spectacular views of Mt Khangchendzonga. It is the perfect base for traveling throughout Sikkim. Gangtok offers a good mix of nature’s beauty, culture & traditions and subtle city life. Every season here has its own charm. During spring months, Rhododendron blooms transform the surrounding regions in vast fields of colorful carpets.  In December, the annual Gangtok Food and Culture Festival is held where Sikkim’s multi-cultural cuisine, music and dance performances are showcased.

It’s a beautiful bungalow located in the serene surroundings of Deorali in the outskirts of Gangtok. Away from hustle bustle of the main town, it’s a peaceful homely stay with panoramic mountain views. You need to walk a little to reach the place. There are three floors; the ground floor has 1 room, a common living area and the kitchen; first floor has 3 rooms and the top floor has 1 room, balcony and the library. This floor is ideal for those looking to work from there. All rooms have an attached washroom. There is a terrace and the green open spaces as well to chill with the host and the co travelers.

How To Reach

Pakyong airport is just 25 kms from Gangtok. It has limited connectivity with other cities. The nearest major well-connected airport is in Bagdogra about 128 kilometres away. Cabs are available from the airport.
