Temi Tarku is located in beautiful hills of South Sikkim. It provides a splendid view of Kanchendzunga. This place is known for Temi Tea Garden – the only tea garden of Sikkim. It’s a very peaceful place within the nature, away from all the pollution and hum drums. Full of organic farming, local fruits and flowers, it adds an authentic socio-cultural richness to the traveler’s experience.
This 200 years old heritage home made of mud and stone is an ideal place to spend a few days with nature. There are 2 well furnished guest rooms; each room has a double bed, attached bathroom and balcony. Hot water kettle in each room with tea leaves is provided for your convenience. There is a bonfire place as well for barbecue.

Food

Sarla serves Buckwheat/Millet pancakes, Roti and vegetables in breakfast. Nepali style Thali with organic vegetables and varieties of pickles is a usual dinner. You must try Dalle Khursani (one of the hottest chilies in the world). This chilli is a favorite side-dish with the usual Daal-Bhaat. Non-veg can be provided on demand. You should also try homemade bakery items and hot Green Pakoras with freshly plucked homemade tea leaves in the evening.

Lalit Kumar Pradhan along with his wife Sarala Pradhan run this amazing homestay. Sarala cooks delicious local Nepali cuisine and their daughter Divya likes to make cookies and sweets.
