Ghatti Dang is a mesmerising valley with lovely mountain and valley views in Almora district of Uttarakhand around 50 kms from Dhangarhi gate of Corbett National Park. This lovely Homestay is located on Ranikhet Road, and provides lovely views of the forest and the Himalayas. It is ideal for those looking for a peaceful retreat in the lap of nature.

The homestay has 2 rooms for the guests both with attached bathrooms and balcony. When the sky is clear, a picturesque view of the Himalayas is visible from the varandah. Go on a morning walk chasing birds, enjoy healthy meals, explore hidden nature trails and come back to relax with a cup of tea watching changing colours of the evening sky.

The nearest airport is located at Pantnagar at 137 km and Ramnagar is the nearest railway station at 54 km from the homestay. Roads are well connected from Nainital, Almora, Mukteshwar and Dwarahat.

Food

The host serves delicious home-cooked traditional Kumauni food. Breakfast includes puri sabji, bread omelet, poori aloo, stuffed paratha of Aallo, Onion, Paneer with Raita/Dhai or with tea/ coffee. Enjoy traditionally cooked dal and seasonal farm fresh vegetables, Bhat ke Dubuke, Bhatt-ki-churkani, Gauhat ke Dubuke, Mandve-ki-roti etc with rice or roti during Lunch and dinner. In Sweet Sweet (Jhungar ki Kheer/Chaulai ka Halwa/Puwe). The homestay has the option of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
