Wildernest Homestay – Dalar

It’s a traditional Pahari House set in splendid isolation amidst Oak and Pine forest in a pristine little village inside Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary of Uttarakhand. The place is wrapped up in thick foliage and is therefore an ideal destination for writers, nature lovers, birders, working professionals and those who want to be with nature to recover their health. On a clear day you can have a swapping view of Himalayan peaks such as Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Trishul, Nandadevi etc. There are two cottages. One has two bedrooms with separate washrooms and another is a single bedroom cottage with an attached washroom.

Note: Since its a wildlife sanctuary, we don’t have internet facility. Carry your own dongle. Jio and Vodafone works best in our area.

How to Reach

Kathgodam is the nearest railway station (110 km). You can either book a taxi directly for Binsar or get a shared taxi for Almora. A 25 km drive will take you to Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. From here you need to take a moderate walk of about 35 mnt to reach Dalar Homestay inside the sanctuary.
