It is a sleepy little village in Ramnagar block in Nainital District of Uttarakhand. It is located 11 kilometres from Ramnagar, base town of Jim Corbett National Park on the road that leads to Kaladhungi and Nainital. Ramnagar Railway Station is the nearest rail head. Nainital is around 53 km from here. Proximity to the Corbett National Park, open fields, slow life and variety of birds make it an ideal place for true nature lovers.
The Homestay
Nestled amidst the fertile fields of Terai and hemmed by the legendary and extremely bio-diverse Terai forest it is a no frill homestay. There is only one but a huge non- ac guest room with attached bath. It comprises of 2 single beds and 1 large double bedded bunker and easily accommodated 4 adults with 2 kids. There is a vegetable garden to serve the family kitchen. Also over 30 verities of fruit trees and native flower bushes host to no less than 100 species of birds. The home is open to all nature lovers, students and eco volunteers who wish to explore Corbett National Park on 4 X 4 or explore the nearby forest of Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve on foot or get involved in the numerous volunteering programs well suited for gap year students and volunteers.

Food
Food is freshly cooked and non- fancy. Our cuisine is a mix of typical north Indian, Bengali, Pahari, Nepalese and Assamese type, representing our family influence. Though most of the raw material is sourced from Ramnagar, some of it is harvest of the kitchen garden as well.
