This homestay is located in Kanatal the Tehri Garwal district of Uttarakhand. Kanatal is a small village in the Garhwal region of Himalayas in Uttarakhand. If you like walking along undiscovered forest trails, sitting by the mountain stream and chasing butterflies across meadows, come to Kanatal. Located on Mussoorie-Chamba road, this quaint hill station has an expansive view of Himalayas and is surrounded by apple orchards and has rolling green stretches. This homestay is nestled within a Kiwi & apple orchard farm, with hundreds of trees spread across four acres of terraced land. Below, a lush, uninhabited valley stretches out, while towering snow-capped Himalayan peaks stand majestically on the horizon. On clear cloudless days, you can watch the unique ridge lines of the Bunder Poonch (Monkey’s Tail) peak from the terrace.

This independent homestay has two levels with three rooms, each having its own attached bathroom. One room is on the ground floor, and the other two are on the first floor, accessed by a separate staircase. The rooms are bright, airy, and have all the modern comforts. There are also common areas for guests to enjoy, including a cozy living room with a fireplace, perfect for sitting back with a book or sipping a warm cup of tea. On the lower level, there is a porch, and on the upper level, a large terrace with outdoor seating. From here, you can enjoy beautiful north-facing views of the forested hills and the snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas. The homestay has a peaceful, inviting atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and unwinding.

Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest Airport 82kms away from Kanatal. The two nearest railway stations are Dehradun (64 km) and Rishikesh (77km). Buses and Taxis to Kanatal are easily available from major destinations of Uttarakhand like Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar and Tehri, Chamba and Mussoorie, etc. From the parking lot, there is a 90 meter walk through the orchards to the cottage.
