Kausani is one of the most picturesque hill stations in Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. You get amazing panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges like Trisul, Nanda Devi and Panchachuli. It is known for picture-perfect sunrise with the magical play of colors on the mountain peaks.  The surrounding forests are covered in Pines. With over 50 different species of birds. It is a paradise for bird lovers. Kausani receives snowfall from December to mid February. Some common trek routes from Kausani are Adi Kailash trek, Base Kausani trek and Bageshwar- Sunderdhunga trek.

This is a cozy little homestay located on the Almora-Gopeshwar road, around 3 kms before Kausani. It overlooks a beautiful valley with lush green fields and a stream flowing through it. A wooden bridge takes you to the other side of the stream and the whole setting looks very picturesque. Every season has a different beauty. There are 3 guest rooms, all with an attached bathroom and a common dining area.

He serves delicious home cooked meals. Breakfast options are paratha, puri sabji, poha, upma, butter toast with egg etc. Meals can be prepared on order. They have both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Regular meals include rice, dal, kadi, rajma, seasonal vegetables, egg curry etc. Local organic ingredients are used in the kitchen. You can also order local kumaoni and Chinese food.
