Munsiyari is one of the most scenic village of Uttarakhand, situated on the banks of Gori Ganga river with the stunning backdrop of Panchachuli Peaks. It is located in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, perched between the borders of India, Tibet and Nepal. Its is the base for three glaciers namely Namik, Milam and Ralam Glaciers. Munsiyari is also the starting point of Johar Valley which was the ancient trade route between Tibet and India. It is a hub for mountaineers, glacier enthusiasts, high altitude trekkers and nature lovers alike.
It is an independent house located on the top of a hill with the highest Himalayan view point. You get stunning views of Panchachuli Peaks, Rajramba, Hansling, Chipla Kedar and Ralam Glacier right from the rooms itself. Explore hidden nature trails, engage in bird watching, go on a riverside trail or just relax with your favorite book in the mini library. There is an in house parking as well and pets are also welcome. There are 2 buildings, one with 6 double occupancy rooms and the other building has a family suite on the first floor and a double occupancy room on the ground floor. The ground floor rooms have personal lawn and the first floor rooms have balconies with amazing views. All the rooms have an attached bathroom. There is a garden, common dining area, mini library cum living room and Dining hall for larger groups. They also have their own vegetable farms.

How To Reach
The nearest airport is at Pithoragarh at a distance of 125 km, but it is not a regular airport. The nearest railhead is Tanakpur, about 276 km away. Munsiyari is connected by motorable roads to all the major towns and cities.

You can relish delicious home cooked local Johari food prepared from fresh seasonal vegetables from their own vegetable farm. Local breakfast is served that includes Butter milk, Maude ki Roti, chutney, sattu, khaja, kukla, seasonal fruit juices like sea buckthorn juice, Malta juice, Buransh juice. Local thali system is there for Lunch and Dinner. Thali includes seasonal vegetables, dal, rice, roti, papad etc. Non vegetarian food is also available on request.
