Located in the Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand, Naukuchiatal is one of the best locations near Delhi for a quiet vacation in the lap of nature. It is just 27kms from Nainital and 5kms from Bhimtal. There are ample things you can do here including hiking, angling and bird watching. You can also do rowing, paddling or yachting. The virgin forest around has a variety of flora and fauna.

Reconnect with nature at this unique thoughtfully constructed homestay spread across more than 1 acre land. It is located in the quiet surroundings of a wooded area near Naukuchiatal. The lake is 10 min walk from here and there is a small pond and a waterfall just a few steps away. This A-framed house has high ceilings and windows, letting guests take in a truly unique view of the surrounding wooded area, mountains and sky. Living here is like a fairy tale. Wake up to the sound of birds chirping, a local cat playing around and ducks waddling in the pond. You can see the sunlight drifting in through the windowed wall and your door opening to the forest. take long walks amongst the hills and down to the lake or town.

There is one huge independent cottage that has 3 rooms on the ground floor, each with an attached washroom and 2 rooms with 2 bathrooms and a patio on the first floor. It can accommodate 14 people. Other than this, there are 2 independent cabins. Each cabin has a main room an attic and an attached washroom. It can accommodate 4 guests. All the rooms are tastefully done with all the comforts for a relaxed stay and provide incredible scenic views of the Himalayan peaks. Fire pit and firewood are available for guest use. Fresh mountain air, scented breeze, warm sunshine, healthy delicious food, smiling faces, loving people and cordial hosts – what else do you need for a perfect vacation amidst nature.

How To Reach

The nearest airport is Pantnagar located at a distance of around 60 km. Kathgodam is the nearest railway station, 27 km from Naukuchiatal. It is well connected by road as well. There are luxury buses that ply between Delhi and Haldwani.

Know Your Host

This beautiful stay is conceptualised and managed by two brothers Kamal and Chandra. They always wanted to join their parents in this beautiful hill station. So they decided to leave city life to build this beautiful cottage. Chandra is passionate about music so you might find him singing and playing guitar around the bonfire in the evenings. The team is prompt and the staff is extremely friendly and courteous. They believe in providing a wholesome experience in a friendly environment for everyone to relax in their own way.
