Rishikesh is a spiritual town in Uttarakhand situated beside Ganga River in the Himalayan foothills. It is also called the yoga capital of the world. It is an excellent place to meditate and study yoga. An international yoga week is organized here every year by Uttarakhand Tourism between 2nd and 7th of February. Rishikesh is also a good starting point for treks to Himalayan pilgrimage like Badrinath, Kedarnath , Gangotri, Yamunotri. For the adventurous people, there are opportunities for white water rafting on the Ganga. A few minutes walk from Laxman Jhoola is this quieter, relaxed area Tapovan, known for its yoga ashrams and laid-back terrace cafes with river view.
Located in the green surroundings of upper Tapovan away from the hustle and bustle of the main town, this is an independent three storied house. The host family stays on the ground floor while the guest rooms are on the first and second floor. Each floor has 4 double occupancy neat and comfortable rooms, all with an attached bathroom, balcony and mountain view. The top floor has the spacious yoga hall with mesmerizing Ganga views. It is an ideal stay for those looking for a peaceful and homely environment. High speed Internet (100mbps) is there along with power backup, so the stay is ideal for workation as well.

How To Reach
Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport (21kms). You can also come to Delhi airport which is around 244 kms and take a cab or train from there. The nearest railhead to Rishikesh is in Haridwar which is 25 km away.

Enjoy healthy home cooked meals. Breakfast options are poha, upma, paratha, puri sabji, bread omelet etc. Both Vegetarian and Non- vegetarian options are available. Lunch and dinner includes seasonal veg, dal, roti, rice, curd and salad. Chicken and mutton can also be prepared on order. Hygiene is their top priority and food is made in pure ghee and mustard oil.
